Prof. Dr. Ana Aslan

The history of Gerovital begins in the middle of the 20th century.

As a professor of internal medicine at the University of Bucharest, Ana Aslan founded in 1945, the National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatic Research that bears her name since 1992. It developed from 1946 to 1956 a revolutionary named after her gerontological therapy in which for the first time the use of procaine plays an essential role.
